Arriving at this homestay will make your jaw drop it is so beautiful. The Wayan family go out of their way to ensure you enjoy the homestay and village life. The breakfast is sensational and dinners are delicious. The family loaned us sarongs and invited us to partake in a ceremony at the temple. A top homestay. Also recommend a 15 minute walk or 3 min ride to LakLak Penganon for the best, cheapest lunch and coffee you will have in Indonesia.
Setting was family compound with porches on one side. Local artist's beautiful woodwokingi was incorporated into compound. The food was really home cooked, plentiful and beautifully presented. The host gave us a walking tour of the surrounding area, which was a series of rice fields and community structures and activities. He also gave us a tour of Klungkung, including the Royal Palace where he told us about the history of the city.
